Parking restrictions in the College Hill area will take place Monday–Friday, Nov. 25–29, ensuring that City of Pullman workers can keep roadways clear in the event of winter weather.

Motorists traveling to and from WSU Pullman likely will see an increased police presence along State Route 26 and U.S. 195 as well as Interstate 90 over Snoqualmie Pass.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Bright yellow walls and a cartoon painting of Shrek are all that remain of the old Pullman Video Quest. Instead of movie rentals, the former store shelves are lined with canned vegetables and boxed dinners. Off to the side, a 20-foot table sags under the weight of Thanksgiving fare recently donated by WSU student groups.

PULLMAN, Wash. – If you think Thanksgiving dinner can pack on the pounds, consider the grizzly bears at Washington State University that eat the equivalent of three such feasts daily during the weeks leading to hibernation. After nearly doubling their weight, they take a winter-long nap – only to wake up trim and perfectly healthy in early spring.

PULLMAN, WASH. – This month’s Thanksgiving turkey might contain more than bread stuffing. It could also harbor salmonella, a bacterial pathogen that causes foodborne illness in 1.2 million Americans each year, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
