PULLMAN, Wash. – The Master of Fine Arts Thesis Exhibition at the Washington State University Museum of Art will be April 4-May 6. A reception will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 7, in the museum gallery. Admission to the museum is free.

PULLMAN, Wash. – More than 120 paintings, drawings, sculptures and prints will be displayed in “Rick Bartow: Things You Know But Cannot Explain,” a retrospective representing 40 years of work by the prominent, contemporary Native American artist at the Washington State University Museum of Art Jan. 24-March 11.

comic-detail-webPULLMAN, Wash. – “Northwest Alternative Comics” opens at the Washington State University Museum of Art on Monday, Sept. 26, but related events – helping create a comic zine and watching artists make a mural – begin this week. The exhibit, which goes through Dec. 17, is free, as are all events.

Oct. 1: Launch party inaugurates Museum of Art expansion

PULLMAN, Wash. – With the planning stage completed, Washington State University will host a free, public launch party to dedicate the site of the $15 million Museum of Art expansion. The party will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, in the Fine Arts plaza.

PULLMAN, Wash. – A retrospective of works by retired Washington State University faculty member Chris Watts will run Aug. 22-Sept. 17 at the Museum of Art/WSU. An opening reception at 6 p.m. and artist talk at 7 p.m. will be Thursday, Aug. 25, in the museum gallery. Admission is free.
