PULLMAN, Wash. – Despite playing a critical role in the academic success of higher education, department chairs are among the least studied and most misunderstood management position.
SEATTLE – Washington State University has joined a Seattle-area nonprofit partnership to improve health care and economic development in diverse, low-income communities. It is anticipated that successful programs of Global to Local (G2L) in south King County might be replicated in eastern Washington.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University President Elson S. Floyd announced this morning the appointment of John Gardner as new vice president for development and CEO of the WSU Foundation. Gardner will assume his new responsibilities effective July 1.
PULLMAN, Wash. – Afghanistan is working to rebuild its culture, economy and institutions – and a brighter future – by increasing its capacity to deliver extension programs at the local level. Washington State University is part of a consortium of leading land grant universities assisting the effort.
