Museum of Art names new development director

laura-childPULLMAN, Wash. – Laura Child has been selected director of development for the Museum of Art at Washington State University after serving recently as assistant director of development for the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation.

She graduated with dual majors in English and business administration from WSU and has been an active volunteer in the Pullman community since moving here in 2004. Her career has spanned sales, financial planning and development.

“Laura Child is a perfect fit for this position,” said Chris Bruce, who recently retired as museum director. “She is experienced in managing all aspects of development necessary to carry our new museum into a bright future.”
