PULLMAN, Wash. – The annual Top Ten Senior Awards recently were presented to graduating men and women students in five categories by the Washington State University Student Alumni Ambassadors and Alumni Association.

SPOKANE, Wash. – College students studying to become healthcare professionals are looking for 90 senior citizens to sign up to receive two hours of free healthcare screenings on Friday, Oct. 24, in the Spokane University District. The deadline to RSVP is Oct. 23.

The Washington State University Horticulture Club and the WSU Arboretum Committee will plant and dedicate a tree at 9:10 a.m. May 2 to honor WSU’s graduating seniors.The planting of the tree will take place at the WSU Arboretum located east of Hulbert Hall and north of the Lewis Alumni Centre. WSU President V. Faculty, staff, students and community members can nominate seniors for the Big Ten Senior awards, which will be presented at the Senior Barbeque on May 1 at the Lewis Alumni Centre.The awards are given to the top male and female in five areas, including academics, athletics, campus involvement, community service and visual/performing arts. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. April 13.  A nomination form can be found online at www.alumni.wsu.edu/bigten. Nominations may be submitted online, by fax to 335-3299, or mailed to campus zip 6150. If you#re The Boeing Company, trying to build a plane to exact specifications, a thick layer of paint can be a big pain in the neck.Due to detailed specifications, a few extra paint strokes can cause the weight of a component to exceed its weight limit, which means workers have to dismantle the components, remove the paint, and redo it.
