golf ballPULLMAN, Wash. – The Harold Sorensen Memorial Golf Tournament will be Thursday, Sept. 11, at the Palouse Ridge Golf Course at Washington State University. Check-in begins at 12:30 p.m. with a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. The deadline to register is Aug. 29.

Palouse Ridge hosting USGA amateur qualifier

PULLMAN – WSU’s Palouse Ridge Golf Club will host Washington state’s U.S. Golf Association’s 2010 Amateur Sectional Qualifying round on Aug. 3.

 

Seventy-two golfers from Washington State will be competing for three spots in the 110th U.S. Amateur Championship hosted by Chambers Bay Golf Course in University Place, Washington, from Aug. 23-29.

PULLMAN – After a successful debut a year ago, WSU Facilities Operations has set its second golf tournament to support the FacOps Scholarship Fund to take place Saturday, Aug. 14.

Registration has started for the open-to-the-public Jess Ford of Pullman Hardhat Classic Golf Tournament reflecting the fact that the Pullman dealership is tournament title sponsor of the 18-hole event. It will be held at WSU’s Palouse Ridge Golf Club, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

PULLMAN – WSU Men’s and Women’s intramural basketball teams were victorious at the Pac-10 Intramural Basketball Tournament, March 13 and 14.

PULLMAN – For the first time since 1994, the Washington State Cougars will be participating in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship. The Cougars were selected as the No. 3 seed in the East Region and will play No. 14 seed Oral Roberts in a first round game at Sacramento, Calif., Thursday, March 15.
