WSU wins four CASE Circle of Excellence awards

“I can’t tell you how deeply touching this is,” Curry told the audience inside the CUB Senior Ballroom Tuesday night. “This award is so prestigious precisely because it is named for a journalist with high ideals.”
Tammy Barry serves as the WSU Graduate School’s associate dean in charge of program assessment and review. Jon Walter is an administrative planning specialist with the department of Institutional Research.
Each recipient will be recognized at the Presidential Awards ceremony scheduled to begin at 12:15 p.m. inside the CUB Senior Ballroom in Pullman.
Chemical engineering student Kristian Gubsch receives $19,000, a paid summer internship and travel to two scientific conferences as part of the nationally competitive scholarship.
RICHLAND, Wash. – WSU Tri-Cities encourages individuals to nominate distinguished female students, staff, faculty members, alumnae or community members who have made notable contributions to the campus through service, teaching or involvement.
WSU theatre faculty Benjamin Gonzales and Mary Trotter received awards from Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region VII.
