WSU baseball second in Pac-10

WSU baseball is in second place in the Pac-10 after the Cougars won their three-game series at USC Sunday.

 

The team’s next home games are 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, vs. Gonzaga and then a series against Stanford – 5:30 p.m. May 1, 1 p.m. May 2, and noon May 3.

WSU intramurals teams sweep Pac-10 tournaments

PULLMAN – WSU Men’s and Women’s intramural basketball teams were victorious at the Pac-10 Intramural Basketball Tournament, March 13 and 14.

Cougars beat Trojans in double overtime

The No. 13 Washington State Cougars beat the No. 23 University of Southern California Trojans, 88-86, in a double overtime game on Saturday to clinch the title of second place  in the Pac-10 Conference.The Cougar’s Pac-10 second place finish tied the 1982-83 team for the best finish ever. The Cougars have never won a league title. The last WSU team to win at least 24 games was in 1940-41, when the team won a school-record 26 games.Taylor Rochestie, No. 10, contributed 21 points to help lead the Cougars to victory.
