Celli of the Paul G. Allen School for Global Health received the Zoetis Animal Health Award for Research Excellence at the College of Veterinary Medicine’s annual Research Symposium.
WSU President Kirk Schulz has honored 11 individuals as well as the entire clinical staff of Cougar Health Services for their leadership in safeguarding the university community this past year.
Patrick Lane was honored as this fall’s Chosen Coug Award recipient. Lane, who died of COVID‑19 earlier this year, was recognized for the distinct impact he had on his daughter’s experience at WSU.
A WSU team received a 3‑year, $750,000 grant to develop a curriculum for building science certificates and a degree focused on energy-efficient housing.
As part of the awards, Kayla Burnham and Ali Weaver have committed to working as full-time emergency veterinary clinicians for at least a year at an emergency pet hospital.
