This course provides an overview of the faculty recruitment process at Washington State University.  The course includes a comprehensive review of the five separate phases of recruitment, along with numerous best practice tips and suggestions to help Search Committees manage the successful recruitment, screening, interview, and evaluation of job candidates. Additionally, the roles and responsibilities of key offices and individuals during the recruitment process are discussed, as well as the importance of providing a positive candidate experience during the entire recruitement process. Cougar Tennis is hosting Campus Kids Day on Sunday, March 20, as they host Colorado at 11 a.m. The first 40 kids can pick up a youth Cougar Tennis T-shirt.  All kids can play on the inflatable games, run around with Butch T. Cougar, and join the team for ice cream following the match. The event will be held at Hollingbery Fieldhouse or the Outdoor Tennis Courts, depending on weather.  Join Cougar Tennis for the annual USTA Campus Kids Day on March 20!

REQUESTING A MAIL STOP (WSU Pullman).

Send a written request to the University Communications Mailing Services supervisor to request a Pullman campus mail stop. Approval of a new mail stop is based on existing or projected mail volumes. A full-time secretary is required and the office must be open for delivery of mail on all days the University is officially open for business.

Make a difference in our community! On Saturday, March 26, Health & Wellness Services will host a Green Dot bystander training. This workshop equips participants with practical skills to help make our community a safer place. During the training participants will learn how to safely intervene in potentially dangerous situations. Trainings are open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members. The Lighty Espresso Bar will be closed Tuesday, March 15 – Thursday, March 17 due to the completion of a project on the brick above the service counter. In appreciation for student, faculty and staff cooperation, Dining Services will provide complementary drip coffee from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Lighty Atrium seating area during the closure days. Bustad Espresso is open from 7:30 a.m. – 2 p.m., and coffee is also available at Reunion Café and the Bookie Café. Questions regarding the closure can be directed to Sean Greene at smgreene@wsu.edu
