SURCA logoPULLMAN, Wash. – The 2015 Showcase for Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (SURCA) at Washington State University broke many records March 30 – in participation, attendance and number of winners, awards and sponsoring donors.

• WSU Today, the faculty and staff newspaper and news website, won a national excellence award for newspaper design from the University and College Designers Association.

Joyce Harbison, principal assistant for the Department of Pharmacotherapy, won the 2006-07 administrative professional staff excellence award and Kristie Wardrop, program coordinator for the Interdisciplinary Design Institute, won the 2006-07 civil service staff excellence award from WSU Spokane. They were selected by their peers in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the campus and greater Spokane community.

Pullman residents and WSU organizations, students, faculty, staff were honored April 4 for their participation and successes during Cougar Pride Days 2006. Six drawing winners announced from WSU Today reader survey

Six winners have been named in the WSU Today Readership Survey drawing.The survey included more than 700 participants universitywide. A big thank you is extended to all who participated.
