PULLMAN, Wash. – The Washington State University Festival of Contemporary Art Music, Feb. 5-7, will feature guest composer Diane Thome. The annual festival is one of WSU’s signature events.

STANWOOD, Wash. – The annual Country Living Expo and Cattlemen’s Winterschool Jan. 31 will offer more than 185 workshops and classes in skills from cheesemaking and beekeeping to agribusiness, landscape design and small-scale solar power.

PULLMAN, Wash. – A free, kid-friendly, biology open house with tours, experiments, activities and science crafts will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in Abelson Hall at Washington State University.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Fourteen high school choirs from throughout Washington and Idaho will participate in the 21st annual day-long choral festival Saturday, Oct. 18, in Kimbrough Hall at Washington State University. Performances throughout the day are free to the public, as is the closing concert at 5 p.m. in Bryan Hall.
