harvest-party-80PULLMAN, Wash. – Fresh pressed cider, food and family fun are on the menu for the free, 2014 harvest party 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Washington State University organic farm.

Activities will include hay wagon rides, face painting and games.

Pumpkins, sold by weight, will be available from a U-pick pumpkin patch that includes traditional jack-o-lanterns, baby pumpkins and novelty varieties.

Food and fresh-pressed cider will be available for purchase with cash or check.

“The harvest party provides a great opportunity to meet the organic farm crew, see your friends and enjoy the harvest and the crisp fall air,” said farm manager Brad Jaeckel.

The farm is located in Tukey horticulture orchard on the corner of Airport Road and Terre View Drive. The orchard will be open for U-pick and pre-picked fruit sales.

Please leave pets at home.
