Nov. 15: Free biology open house invites area kids

biology-open-housePULLMAN, Wash. – A free, kid-friendly, biology open house with tours, experiments, activities and science crafts will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in Abelson Hall at Washington State University.

Tours will cover WSU’s botanical greenhouse, on the Abelson roof, and the Conner Museum, home to all kinds of taxidermic animals. Activities will include identifying live bugs and plants and using a microscope.

The event is hosted by the Biology Graduate Student Association at WSU.
