Ask Dr. Universe launches new podcast series in Spanish

Washington State University’s favorite science cat, Dr. Universe, has teamed up with a new friend — a Spanish-speaking science platypus. The pilot episode of the Spanish podcast series aired Aug. 27 and explores what would happen if you were eaten by a shark, with expert guidance from WSU fish veterinarian, Dr. Nora Hickey.

Tu Pregunta Paw-dre | ¿Qué pasa si te come un tiburón?

The Spanish podcast series — Tu Pregunta Paw-dre —  joins three others: Your Paw-some Question, which answer kids’ science questions; How Do You Science, which introduce students to WSU researchers and explore what their jobs are like; and Student-led Podcasts, which are written and performed with local elementary and middle school students to teach science communication skills.

You can tune in to these monthly episodes or enjoy the Ask Dr. Universe catalogue.
