No CUB grub? no problem

The CUB is closed for two years’ renovation, but the WSU community has a range of alternatives for food services, said Liz Khosravi, Dining Services associate director. They include:

• Hillside Café and Market at Wilmer-Davis residence hall.

• Northside Marketplace at Regents-Stearns residence hall.

• Stephenson dining, in the Stephenson residence complex.

• Espresso bars in Lighty, Bustad and Cleveland, and the Cyber Café in Smith CUE.

In addition, the Atrium Café on the ground floor of Todd Hall will expand services to include salads, sandwiches, muffins, bagels, espresso and more. It is run by the Hospitality Business Management students in the College of Business.

Café hours are 7 a.m.-3 p.m.; cash, Cougar cash cards and debit/credit cards will be accepted.

Khosravi said Dining Services espresso bars are expanding menus to include more salads, sandwiches and frozen entrees — to heat in on-site microwaves — like burritos, burgers and hot sandwiches.

“We anticipate offering a daily barbecue with limited grab-and-go items on Terrell Mall as weather permits,” Khosravi said.
