Unplanned Canvas maintenance on Monday, May 3

Canvas is updating the back-end database management system to address a bug that could otherwise result in long periods of downtime for Canvas users. This update is a proactive measure to reduce chances of an outage in the system.

This event will take place May 3 at 1 a.m. PST and will last up to 60 minutes. Less than 5 minutes of downtime is expected.
