Whether attending their first university course or beginning their final year of college, students across the Washington State University system returned to the classroom Monday, Aug. 24, for the fall 2026 semester.

WSU Photo Services documented the first day in Pullman as students made their way to class and settled into their routines. View the gallery below for scenes from around campus.
