Power outage for Information Technology Building Sept. 5

WSU Facilities replaced the transformers in the Information Technology Building (ITB) this summer, during the months of June and July. As follow up to this change, one additional five minute power outage is required at 5 a.m. on September 5.

During this power outage, all equipment in ITB 1010 and 2049 should remain online.   Assuming no unplanned issues arise, all services should be accessible for the duration of the change.

ITS would like to request the following of our customers who have equipment located in ITB 1010:  If you have systems that must continue running, please be aware that there is always a possibility for unexpected issues to arise and prepare accordingly.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Bill Rivers at bill.rivers@wsu.edu, or Jeremy Movius at jeremy.movius@wsu.edu.
