The Annual Open Enrollment period for 2015 begins November 1st and will run through November 30th. This is the one time each year when you are able to change your medical and/or dental plans, add eligible dependents to your coverage, or waive dependents from your coverage. This is also the time to enroll/re-enroll in the Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and/or Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) if you wish to have this coverage in 2015. In June 2014, Washington State University began the process of creating a Comprehensive Transportation Plan for the main campus located in Pullman. Part of the planning process includes outreach to the campus community which is being conducted via in-person meetings and an online survey. (more…)

On Make a Difference Day, everyone can give back to the community. This year, Make a Difference Day falls on Saturday, October 25, and the WSU Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) has planned a variety of projects for WSU students, faculty, and staff. Projects include gardening with Backyard Harvest at the PCEI nature center, caring for abandoned and abused horses at Orphan Acres, helping with yard work and archiving at the White Spring Ranch Museum, and setting up art displays in (more…)

The Graduate School has developed a new electronic submission process for the Sponsored Graduate Student Support Memo and will no longer accept the printed copies starting spring 2015 semester. The new forms will be submitted online at mygradschool.wsu.edu. Once the new process is implemented, the printed forms will no longer be available. Are you responsible for processing form I-9’s in your department? Successful completion of this training is required in order to gain access to WSU’s Electronic I-9 System. This course describes how to use the web-based system adopted by WSU, solve I-9 problems and provide electronic Employment Eligibility Verifications. This session takes place locally in Pullman on Thursday, October 30, from 9 – 10:30 a.m.
