Be the Change on Make a Difference Day, October 25

On Make a Difference Day, everyone can give back to the community. This year, Make a Difference Day falls on Saturday, October 25, and the WSU Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) has planned a variety of projects for WSU students, faculty, and staff. Projects include gardening with Backyard Harvest at the PCEI nature center, caring for abandoned and abused horses at Orphan Acres, helping with yard work and archiving at the White Spring Ranch Museum, and setting up art displays indowntown Pullman as part of the Storefront Project. Transportation is provided to all WSU students, and students should register for these projects on CougSync. Faculty and staff can contact the CCE at cce.marketing@wsu.edu for more information. Student groups can also contact the CCE to organize a service project unique to their group! To learn more about this day of service or register for projects, visit cce.wsu.edu.
