The Graduate School has developed a new electronic submission process for the Sponsored Graduate Student Support Memo and will no longer accept the printed copies starting spring 2015 semester. The new forms will be submitted online at mygradschool.wsu.edu. Once the new process is implemented, the printed forms will no longer be available. Are you responsible for processing form I-9’s in your department? Successful completion of this training is required in order to gain access to WSU’s Electronic I-9 System. This course describes how to use the web-based system adopted by WSU, solve I-9 problems and provide electronic Employment Eligibility Verifications. This session takes place locally in Pullman on Thursday, October 30, from 9 – 10:30 a.m.

WSU’s Entomology Department, in collaboration with WSU Chef Jamie Callison, Paradise Creek Brewery, and the Food Science Club, present Bug Appétit. This Thursday, Oct. 23, Verizon will be installing a portable cell tower adjacent to the stadium to provide greater service during the next two home football games. The sidewalk west of Stadium Way between Wilson Road and Johnson Road will be closed on Thursday. Access to the bus stop will be maintained by Verizon safety personnel. Stadium Way will be reduced to single lane traffic for up to 20 minutes Thursday morning. Traffic controllers will be present along with signage. Please follow the directions of the safety personnel and traffic controllers. (more…)

The motor pool van from Moscow to WSU has an opening for a full time rider. The van leaves Moscow from the Eastside Marketplace at 7:25 a.m. and picks up riders at the Moscow Post Office and the Palouse Empire Mall. Departure from campus is at 5:10 p.m. While on campus the van is parked in the Fine Arts Building garage. Cost for a full time rider is $60-$65 per month. University Recreation is offering Women’s Only Swim Lessons next month. The class meets Monday and Wednesday from 7-7:45 p.m. from Nov. 3 to Nov. 19!
