Call for events for Week of Welcome

Hello New Student Programs Campus Partners,

We wanted to reach out because we know that there is expressed interest in hosting events during Week of Welcome (WOW), August 14 to 22. This year, we are centralizing all of our WOW activities inside of our student engagement software “Presence”. If your department or office would like to have an event that is not a WOW anchor program but needs to be included on the WOW schedule, please identify a member of your team who will register the event. Then have that individual complete the Department Access Request form. Following the completion of that form, this person will be given access and instructions about how to register an event in presence for WOW. All events must be registered by July 30.

Let us know if you have any questions by emailing wsu.wow@wsu.edu.

The Notices and Announcements section is provided as a service to the WSU community for sharing events such as lectures, trainings, and other highly transactional types of information related to the university experience. Information provided and opinions expressed may not reflect the understanding or opinion of WSU. Accuracy of the information presented is the responsibility of those who submitted it. The self-uploaded posts are reviewed for compliance with state statutes and ethics guidelines but are not edited for spelling, grammar, or clarity.
