PULLMAN – The CUB is offering a free parking validation service to its evening patrons.
Customers visiting the CUB after 5 p.m. who make a retail purchase of $8 or more may present their receipt to the information desk, where they will receive a parking validation coupon.
The parking validation coupons are valid in the Smith Center (CUE) parking garage only and cover the $2 cost of parking. The coupons are valid for the date of purchase only and customers need to enter the parking garage after 5 p.m. to receive free parking.

WSU pedestrian mall areas have been expanded, and drivers are reminded that unauthorized vehicles can be fined for driving in the areas, even to drop off passengers.
Library Road pedestrian mall has been extended north to the old Bookie building. Wilson Road from Stadium Way to the CUB has been converted to a pedestrian mall.
Access is restricted to vehicles displaying disability permits, departmental permits, mall service permits, commercial permits or exempt license plates. Vehicles without proper authorization will be subject to traffic infraction or parking fines ($124 and $100 respectively).

PULLMAN – WSU Parking and Transportation Services will be offering annual campus parking permit renewals for 2008/2009 on the Web.
Eligible annual permit holders will be contacted via a MyWSU portal notice and a post card mailing that will direct them to the WSU Parking and Transportation Web site for the renewal, which is expected to start on March 25. The permit by Web renewal process is easy and takes as few as six clicks to complete.

If the weather permits, 12 new outdoor tennis courts across Fairway Drive to the south of the Student Recreation Center will be opening during the second or third week in May, according to Louise Sweeney, a project manager for capital planning and development. “All that’s left to do is apply the acrylic” top coating, she said. “Right now it’s still asphalt and too rough to play on.” The courts need about five coats of acrylic for a smooth finish.
