WSU pedestrian mall areas have been expanded, and drivers are reminded that unauthorized vehicles can be fined for driving in the areas, even to drop off passengers.
Library Road pedestrian mall has been extended north to the old Bookie building. Wilson Road from Stadium Way to the CUB has been converted to a pedestrian mall.
Access is restricted to vehicles displaying disability permits, departmental permits, mall service permits, commercial permits or exempt license plates. Vehicles without proper authorization will be subject to traffic infraction or parking fines ($124 and $100 respectively).

PULLMAN – WSU Parking and Transportation Services will be offering annual campus parking permit renewals for 2008/2009 on the Web.
Eligible annual permit holders will be contacted via a MyWSU portal notice and a post card mailing that will direct them to the WSU Parking and Transportation Web site for the renewal, which is expected to start on March 25. The permit by Web renewal process is easy and takes as few as six clicks to complete.

Parking permits are available for purchase or renewal online through May 31. For people who participated in Phase two, it is now time to go back online and purchase the 2007/2008 parking permit you requested, according to Chris Boyan, administrative and outreach manager for Parking Services. The deadline to purchase a requested permit or renew an existing permit is May 31. Based on availability, a permit choice may not be available to purchase, but people can still renew their current permit during this phase.
