The Intro to Whitewater Kayak course will take place on October 18, October 23, and 25 and will teach the basics of White Water Kayaking from certified instructors.
The three day progressive course will start at the fundamentals of gear needed for kayaking and will end with an introduction to kayak movement. Past ORC international trips have included scuba diving in the Bimini Islands as well as surfing in Costa Rica.
The trip begins on December 14 and will conclude December 24. The goal of this trip is to incorporate a service component that will enhance the participants experience by allowing them to spend more meaningful time with the local culture and environment.

The Outdoor Recreation Center is offering an outdoor photography skills clinic that explores new techniques for more interesting landscapes and wildlife pictures. Learn to photograph the great outdoors and capture it’s beauty.No experience is necessary for this clinic and cameras are not required. The clinic will take place April 6 at the Outdoor Recreation Center Fieldhouse 101. The cost is $2 for Student Rec Center members and $3 for non-members. Registration will end April 5.
