Seven faculty members win research travel awards

PULLMAN, Wash. – Virus mutation, regional aquaculture and the accuracy of international mortality statistics are some of the research projects of faculty who received the Fourth Annual International Research Travel Awards (IRTA) from Washington State University last week.

Expland your horizons this Winter and join the Outdoor Recreation Staff as they host an international trip to Thailand.

Past ORC international trips have included scuba diving in the Bimini Islands as well as surfing in Costa Rica.

The trip begins on December 14 and will conclude December 24. The goal of this trip is to incorporate a service component that will enhance the participants experience by allowing them to spend more meaningful time with the local culture and environment.
