WSU’s annual open enrollment for health insurance changes begins Monday, Oct. 24, and will end Nov. 30. This is the time when employees can make medical and/or dental plan changes without prior approval. Changes become effective Jan. 1, 2006.All WSU medical plans have had premium rate changes, including a decrease in the Uniform Medical Plan (UMP). All premiums were determined by the Public Employees Benefits Board (PEBB) in Olympia, Wash.UMP has made other changes, as well.
