Washington State University leaders are actively monitoring the potential implications of the ongoing federal government shutdown, and have launched a new website that’ll be continually update with the latest information.

In addition to updates from university leadership, the WSU Federal Updates website hosts links to resources and guidance for affected members of the university community.

President Elizabeth Cantwell addressed the ongoing situation in her email to the campus community last week.

“Congress remains deadlocked over legislation to fund the federal government, and a shutdown has begun,” Cantwell wrote. “I recognize the uncertainty this creates and am committed to supporting you throughout. The Office of Federal Relations is closely monitoring developments and will provide updates as they become available.”
