Safety and Wellness Expo set for Sept. 18–22

This year's Safety and Wellness Expo is scheduled to run Sept. 18–22.

Featuring an array of flash talks and other events both in-person as well as online, this year’s Safety and Wellness Expo is scheduled to run from Sept. 18–22.

Most days of the expo will feature 10–15 minute online talks on specific topics:

  • Monday Sept. 18 – Emotional Health
  • Tuesday, Sept. 19 – Life Essentials
  • Wednesday, Sept. 20 – Wellness
  • Friday, Sept. 22 – Fun Facts

Each flash talk will also be recorded and available for later viewing. The 2023 Safety and Wellness Expo website is regularly being updated with more information about the flash talks and other events.

Additionally, an array of events on the Pullman campus are scheduled for Thursday, beginning with a blood drive from 10 a.m.–12:30 p.m. inside the Compton Union Building’s Jr. Ballroom. The expo’s resource fair runs from 10 a.m. until noon on Terrell Mall, where exhibitors will be sharing a wealth of information and resources for members of the WSU community.

The day’s events are capped off with the President’s Awards Ceremony at noon inside the CUB Jr. Ballroom. Faculty, staff and students can be recognized as part of the awards ceremony, with the deadline to nominate expiring at 5 p.m. Sept. 6.
