Several categories of WSU employees will receive a pay increase starting this month, though it won’t appear until the second paycheck of the month.

Beginning Jan. 1, faculty, administrative professional staff and graduate assistants received a 1.5 percent salary increase. The salary increase will be viewable in the payroll system on Jan. 13, 2020, and reflected on the Jan. 24 paycheck. The first paycheck of January is compensation for the last half of December, which is before the new rates took effect.
