Washington State Patrol will be conducting emphasis patrols Nov. 15‑25.

The patrols are taking place during heavy traffic times on State Route 26, U.S. Highway 195 and Interstate 90 as WSU students and fans travel across the state for the Thanksgiving holiday break and Apple Cup in Pullman.

WSP troopers in Spokane, Whitman and Adams counties and District 6 troopers in Grant and Kittitas counties will be focusing on speeding to include driving too fast for conditions, distracted/impaired driving and other collision-causing violations during the emphasis.

More about the emphasis patrol can be found at a WSP news release.
