PULLMAN, Wash. — Now that Wilson Road leading to the Compton Union Building a traditional campus transportation hub — has been closed by CUB construction, Washington State University and police and parking officials are suggesting alternatives for people looking to drop off friends and family members.
WSU Police Chief Steve Hansen said, “The key thing to keep in mind is safety. When looking for alternate locations, think about what hazards you may be creating when you are dropping off or picking up a friend.”
Parking and Transportation officials suggest that people plan meeting spots at less congested areas on campus; use cell phones to reduce wait times; or use the transit system to get to and from campus.
