The 2025 WSU Mindfulness Symposium Planning Committee invites proposals for workshop presentations at this year’s symposium on Saturday, Feb. 22, with a submission deadline of Sunday, Jan. 26. The symposium theme is “Whole Person Wellness,” and interactive workshops that integrate this theme are encouraged. Proposals from faculty, staff, students, and community members are all welcome. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in person at the Lewis Alumni Centre on the WSU Pullman campus and will be livestreamed on Zoom, so presentations from other locations via Zoom are also welcomed and encouraged. Workshop presenters receive free admission to the symposium.
The WSU Mindfulness Symposium is an annual event that combines scholarship and practice of mindfulness to support individual and community wellbeing. This year’s event features two keynote presenters, Dr. Melissa Rosenkranz, distinguished chair in contemplative neuroscience at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, and Dr. Paris Wicker, assistant professor of educational leadership at SUNY at Buffalo.
