Wilson Road closed for Springfest 2014

The Student Entertainment Board is pleased to present the 2014 Springfest Music and Arts Festival beginning on Friday, April 25, from 5 – 11 p.m., continuing on Saturday, April 26, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Wilson Road.

The event will feature over 10 bands, DJ’s, 4 carnival rides, and for the first time in the Pacific Northwest, the Luminarium art exhibit. The Palouse Discovery Science Center will also be there along with arts and crafts activities and fun for the all. Outdoor activities are open and free with the exception of the carnival rides pass which is $10 for non-WSU students and a suggested donation for the Luminarium. The two day event will culminate with a Beasley concert at 8:00 pm on Saturday, April 26, featuring Snoop Dogg.

Starting Wednesday, April 23 through Saturday, April 26, Wilson Road will be closed between Lincoln Drive and the GN1 lot directly south of Johnson Hall. Starting Thursday, April 24 through Saturday, April 26, the road closure will extend to Stadium Way. Wilson Road will be closed in order to accommodate the setup and activities for Springfest.  On Saturday, April 26, Lincoln Rd to Grimes Way will also be closed for additional family activities. Alternate parking can be found in the adjacent GN1 and YE4 parking areas along Grimes Way. Please contact Parking and Transportation Services if you have any questions or concerns.
