VOIP phone service maintenance during spring break

Date of Maintenance: March 15 Start time: 8:00 p.m. End time: 12:00 a.m.

ITS is moving WSU VOIP phone traffic from one firewall system to another.  This will cause a complete VOIP phone service outage, including internal calls, off campus calls and 911.  The outage is expected to last no more than ½ hour.  However, the service team have scheduled a total of 4 hours for prep and troubleshooting as needed.

All affected groups: Pullman campus/Everett campus

Duration of impact: Approximately 30 minutes (at some point during the maintenance window, following change prep)

Follow up steps customers need to take: No follow up steps are necessary, however be prepared for disruption of phone service during this maintenance time frame.
