Two final candidates to interview for the New Student Programs post

Dear WSU Faculty & Staff Community:

The New Student Programs Search Committee has completed its initial candidate screening and has identified two final applicants for the position. You are cordially invited to attend their Open Forum presentation via ZOOM as part of this process.  Their presentation will be followed by a 30 minute Q&A session. The candidates have been asked to prepare a 30min presentation on the following prompt:

“What is your guiding philosophy as it relates to transitioning students to a university?” Please use this to present how you would approach flipping a multi-day orientation program, like Alive! to an online format in a matter of weeks.

  • Sam Smith: Friday, April 24, at 10:15-11:15 a.m.
  • Kelly Alvarado-Young: Monday, April 27, at 10:15-11:15 a.m.

Those who have not received an invitation through another listserv and would like to attend, please email ray.acuna@wsu.edu to receive a link to the ZOOM meeting.
