Tickets available for Sept. 25 CougFest with Jake Worthington

WSU Athletics and the Student Entertainment Board are teaming up once again on CougFest, which features live music, food, and drinks. Tickets are $15 for Washington State University students and $25 for the public (not including fees). They can be purchased on SEB’s website.

Up-and-coming country artist Jake Worthington will perform at the Sept. 25 event, which takes place at Washington State University’s Rogers Field. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Worthington is known for his traditional sound and energetic performances. In 2014, he was the runner-up on season six of “The Voice” and released his first self-titled album in 2023. His second album, When I Write this Song, includes a song on which he collaborated with Miranda Lambert. Opening for Worthington will be Lanie Gardner who has toured with the Jonas Brothers and Jelly Roll.

CougFest is as much about community as it is the entertainment. Bring your cowboy boots, your friends, and enjoy the festive atmosphere. More than 3,500 people attended last year, and given the overwhelming positive feedback organizers received, they expect the crowd to be bigger this year. It is a perfect opportunity to get hyped for the WSU football game the next day when the Cougs take on the University of Arizona Wildcats on Gesa Field.
