In spite of the fog we have been experiencing, civil rights icon Diane Nash has made it to Pullman and is ready to address the WSU community tonight, 7 p.m., in the CUB Ballroom.
Nash is the keynote speaker for tonight’s MLK Celebration, a free event open to everyone.
Also part of the Celebration will be the presentation of the annual MLK Distinguished Service Awards. Congratulations to award winners Ken Faunce, WSU history professor; Turea Erwin, director of the Women’s Resource Center; Vanessa Delgado, a WSU sociology major; the Black Graduate Student Association; and WSU’s World Computer Exchange.
See you tonight!
