The David G. Pollart Center for Arts and Humanities and the Association for Bangladeshi Students and Scholars will be hosting an International Mother Language Day Celebration on Friday, Feb. 21, from 5–7 p.m. in Kimbrough Hall 101 on the Pullman campus.
We are looking for participants who would like to come perform or recite a piece in a non-English language.
Performances can include
- Reading a short creative piece or excerpts from a longer literary text
- Reciting a poem
- Performing an act from a play
- Singing a song
- Dancing to a song
in any non-English language.
Each recitation or performance should be 5–8 minutes long, at most. If you are interested in reading for performing at this event, please email us at arts.humanities@wsu.edu by Friday, Feb. 14.
