Ruth Self Retirement Celebration

Ruth Self will be retiring from WSU after 30 years of dedicated service. Ruth has served as the Administrative Assistant in the Division of Governmental Studies and Services, a university outreach unit jointly supported by the College of Arts and Sciences and WSU Extension, since 1987.  Please mark your calendars to join in her retirement celebration on October 29th, from 3-5 p.m. at the Foley Institute Speaker’s Room located on the 3rd floor of Bryan Hall.  There will be a short presentation at 4 p.m.

A new era for the Institute for Shock Physics

WSU professor and former Los Alamos National Laboratory physicist Brian Jensen is the new director of the Institute for Shock Physics. He succeeds Yogendra Gupta, who led the program for 26 years.
