Pre-Retirement and Mid-Career Seminars Offered for WSURP Participants

WSURP Participants— Are you thinking about Retirement? Are you in the middle of your career, and wonder if you should be adjusting your benefits and retirement investments? Human Resource Services (HRS) will be conducting the following seminars to assist you with benefit and retirement planning. Each seminar will begin with a benefits discussion presented by Human Resource Services Benefits Staff and will be followed by a financial education portion presented by representatives from TIAA-CREF.

The Wednesday, Jan. 22 presentations will be held in Lighty 405, and are targeted towards the following groups:

Pre-Retirement: Designed for employees looking to retire in 5 to 10 years. There are two sessions scheduled for 8:30 – 10:30 a.m., and 2 – 4 p.m.

Mid-Career: Designed for employees who are near the beginning or in the middle of their careers. This seminar is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Individual meetings with a WSU HRS Retirement Specialist can be made after attending one of the seminars if needed. You are also encouraged to work directly with TIAA-CREF for your individual retirement/annuity options.
