How can we attract the best and brightest to join our faculty at WSU?

While this question is top of mind for faculty and administrators alike, faculty hiring remains largely a decentralized and siloed process across departments and colleges.

The Association for Faculty Women (AFW) is convening an expert panel to spark a cross-campus conversation about best practices in faculty hiring. Join us as we explore strategies, share lessons learned, and discuss how to strengthen our collective efforts to recruit and retain outstanding faculty talent.

Panelists:

  • Doug Call, senior vice provost
  • Bonnie Jean Wilmoth, talent acquisition manager (HRS)
  • Leah Sheppard, associate dean for equity and inclusion (Carson College of Business)

Moderator: Amrita Lahiri, AFW liaison for diversity, equity and inclusion
