Increase your awareness of mental health issues and improve your ability to help, with Mental Health First Aid training. There are two sessions left with seats available:

  • Saturday, September 6 • 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, November 4 • 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Ground level service (Rogers Field level) of the CUB Tower elevator will not be available Sept. 2-11 to allow installation of a metal entry grate.  Please access upper floors via elevator service in the Football Operations Building and the ADA access route:  Exit the Football Operations Building elevator at Level 3; travel south on the overhead walkway to the CUB Tower elevator access doors; select Floor 3 for the CUB.  The Tower elevator will transport patrons as usual, with the exception that it will not lower to the ground level.

This popular training series designed specifically for employees managing research projects and sponsored programs will begin Friday, Sept. 12. Focusing on the administrative and management activities that contribute to successful research projects, the “Research Administration Training Series” includes such topics as award processing and management, policy and procedure updates, regulation compliance, understanding contracts and proposal submission processes. On-going construction activities at the PACCAR Environmental Technology (Clean Tech) Building will require exploratory excavation along Grimes Way this Friday, August 29, from 6 a.m. to noon.  Traffic flow will be reduced to one lane.  Traffic controllers will be present to direct and coordinate traffic flow.  Please be prepared to experience traffic delays.  Thank you and GO COUGS!
