You’re Invited to The A Game: Guiding Student Success

Please plan to attend this presentation by Dr. Ken Sufka, Professor of Psychology and Pharmacology at the University of Mississippi and author of The A Game:  Nine Steps to Better Grades.  Celebrate the first days of fall semester with this presentation, followed by a wine and cheese reception and discussion, with Dr. Sufka and your colleagues

  • Monday, August 25
  • Tuesday, August 26 (repeat presentation)
  •  CUB 212
  • 3-4:30 p.m. presentation with questions and answers
  • 4:30-5:30  p.m.  wine and cheese reception and discussion

This presentation is customized for instructors, advisors, and everyone who supports student success.  Dr. Sufka will discuss the empirical research upon which his book is based.  He will provide information to help faculty, advisors, and others diagnose student problem areas.  He will suggest ways to help students adopt a set of behaviors and skills to master course content and succeed in college.

As a present from the Provost, a copy of The A Game was given to all new students at WSU this fall.  Dr. Sufka will be talking with students on Sunday, as they step into fall semester.  This is your opportunity to hear and interact with the author.  To request a copy of the book, contact Julia Pomerenk, University Registrar, at pomerenk@wsu.edu.
