Oracle Analytics Cloud maintenance, May 5

Starting at 1 p.m. on Friday, May 5, until noon on Saturday, May 6, Information Technology Services (ITS) will work with Oracle to migrate Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to the latest Oracle Gen 2 platform.

Different OAC and OBIEE services will be impacted at different times during the maintenance window.

At 1 p.m. on Friday, May 5, reports hosted in the OBIEE WSU Data Validation dashboard using live SQL queries to myWSU production will be unavailable for about one hour.

Beginning at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 5, OBIEE Reporting and OAC Data Visualization will only be available in the Read-Only mode for about eight hours. All OAC and OBIEE users will be able to access the platform for analytics, but changes made during this timeframe will not be saved.

ITS will then complete testing to confirm OAC and OBIEE functionality on the new Gen 2 platform for the remainder of the maintenance period.

New features and benefits of OAC on Gen 2 are available in this Oracle Analytics article.
