Make a Difference Day: WSU Disaster Shelter Team training

Washington State University and the Red Cross are partnering to give back to the community! On National Make A Difference Day, you can join the WSU Disaster Shelter Team so we can be prepared to come together as a community if a local disaster were to happen.

WSU Pullman faculty, students, and staff are invited to participate in the training on Saturday, Oct. 26, from 9 a.m.–noon in Butch’s Den in the Compton Union Building (CUB). Parking is free on campus on Saturdays.

The WSU Disaster Shelter Team volunteers will work directly with individuals to ensure their basic needs are met as well as help them access additional services.

Register online or contact Jessica Perone with any questions. We hope to see you there!
