Learning opportunity spotlight featured course: ‘Crucial Accountability’ book review

In the backdrop of persistent issues afflicting both our organizations and personal lives, we often encounter individuals who either lack the willingness or the ability to address broken commitments. Whether it’s a breach of protocol among colleagues, missed deadlines among coworkers, or unfulfilled promises among friends, many opt to remain silent, avoiding accountability altogether. However, as grievances accumulate, tensions rise until eventually, grievances spill over in poorly managed confrontations, exacerbating the situation.

While it’s easy to evade responsibility or, if provoked, confront problems in a manner that escalates tensions, Crucial Accountability equips individuals with the skills to address breached expectations constructively. By resolving issues without jeopardizing relationships — indeed, strengthening them in the process — Crucial Accountability offers a pathway to tackle broken promises, missed deadlines, and disruptive behavior, thus enhancing workplace dynamics and personal relationships for the long term.

Register for the upcoming 2-part series starting June 11
