Jiemei Lin: New Works – Visiting Artist Lecture

Washington State University’s Department of Fine Arts is pleased to present the 2018-2019 Fine Arts Season of thematic programming focused on the human body. Jiemei Lin is the first visiting artist in this series and will be presenting an artist talk on Thursday, September 13, 4:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts auditorium (FA 5062).

As an artist, designer and curator born in Hangzhou, China, currently living and working in the Inland Northwest, Lin works with both digital media and traditional media such as painting, drawing, ceramics and embroidery. Lin’s works frequently take on themes of individual and cultural identity with a keen eye for design and color. She is committed to combating social injustice through exploring themes in her work, and through promoting the fine arts.

Jiemei Lin: New Works is on view through September 25, Fine Arts Gallery 2.
