Information Technology Services (ITS) data center firewall upgrade

ITS Network and Communication Services (NCS) will be upgrading the data center firewalls in ITB 1010 to new hardware on Saturday, June 25, from 8 p.m. to midnight. All systems that are in the ITB1010 data center serviced by the current ASASM firewall cluster will be unavailable during this upgrade period.

It is very important that the owners of these systems test connectivity to their systems after the change has been completed. Zone to zone internal connectivity should also be tested at this time to ensure any backend processes are able to function. ITS strongly encourages you to test before business hours begin Monday, June 27.

The ITS Data Center Operations (DCO) will be staffed during this upgrade time (8 p.m.-midnight) and will be the point of contact for any troubleshooting or questions during the change. They can be reached at 335-0404.

Staff will be available to troubleshoot any issues on Sunday, June 26, if needed. Please call 335-5020 for assistance on Sunday.

For any questions or concerns, please contact CougTech at 335-4357 or cougtech@wsu.edu
